At 5000 revs I'm getting some weird noises !! Sounds like I'm hitting a rev limiter !! Think it's from the top of the engine but can't be sure ?

The light for low oil pressure comes on after a few seconds of the key being turned to on but as soon as car is started it goes out and has never come on while driving
I might just have a ****ing rebuild done , getting sick of this car lol , all these problems just take the fun out of it !!!

I have one done, depends what you want done. I had, brand new turbo, piston rings, forged IE rods, valve stem seals, new crank, new bearings. Oil pump oil pick up, water pump, cambelt, all new gaskets/seals etc.
Totals at around £2200. But that's with huge labour discounts. Turbo was most of it, at £850. And Rods about £500, and crank at £400.

Don't need the turbo as I'v got a ko3s to fit at some point but the rest is probably a deffo !! How did it feel after the rebuild ? Was the whole engine cleaned out ?

I had traumas, but now it's all good. Because I had the new rods that come with the arp bolts, garage under torqued them. Story short I needed another small rebuild. At their cost.
Car is running better than it ever has. So much more pull too. Suppose it's just more efficient as its all new.
If you have the money it's worth doing. Engines in these cars are old now and most are over 100k and been on a longlife service schedule.

If so mate I'll stay away from them
have heard alot about them in bad ways
Also had a mate work for them and they were just fitting second hand engines and saying they are reconditioned engines

Your mate that worked for the company is he working at the minute ? Is he capable of doing it ??
Do not take ur car to the place s3syd is talking about my mate had his engine rebuilt there he had nothing but problems with it and ended up getting rid of the car.
