Ok guys, just a quickie :whistle2:

New 18" AMGs are getting powdercoated as we speak, but im wondering, Do I need new bolts? The wheels have already been milled to M14 from M12 and have spigot rings, but wondering if the OEM Audi bolts are 1: Long Enough or 2: will the head fit down the hole with the socket?

Anyone fitted original mercs to their B5? anything left to look out for?

Cheers

I had new bolts to fit Merc wheels to my b5, try your local wheel/tyre centre for advice.

Sod it!!

Nope... all 4 are ET37...

May stick some 5/10mm spacers on the back... but will have to see how the car sits once the coilies are on...

looks good Rob,about the same height mine was before lowering.
Get it dropped, wish i'd done mine sooner!

Haha and I just want nice wheels and nice handling.... Makes me normal I think lol

they look erm nasty

sorry not my cup a tea

Nasty? Just normal 5 spokes lol.

They look good. With a bit of a drop they`ll look better. The fronts always stick out more. They did on my B7 wheels which are et42.

I wouldnt...My wheel fell off on the n/s/f because it only had about 3mm of thread holding it on! You need longer bolts to fit any kind of spacer.

I'm running 40mm bolts with a 5mm spacer washer at the head end so that I can fit spacers at a later date if I want to... Lol
