Thanks for being the first to post up the facelift A4 Black edition pics XS2MAN, but just my opinion, i still prefer the shape of the pre-facelift front bumper. This facelift version just is not aesthetically as pleasing to me as the outgoing design.
Bet your well chuffed with the improved engines on the upside though. I'll hopefully get our own Black edition pics posted once i've given it the full treatment with the Blackfire kit and hope that my pictures stand up to the quality of some of your lots.

Yeah, see I prefer the newer shape now. Wasn't sure at first when I saw it on the configurator and stuff, but now, having seen it in the flesh, I much prefer the more angled approach Audi have taken.
The rectangular fogs, the edgier grill etc... Sets it off a treat in the flesh. And the new headlights are MUCH better looking to me too.

Guess its something you need to see in the flesh but i'm glad to see YOU are happy with it which is the main thing. Especially when you spend the amount of money they cost. Could you post some pics of the front and back lights on please. I'm really keen to compare them to the pre-facelift.
Really difficult that one. Dont have a decent camera, so these are only done with my blackberry. Will try getting a hold of a better camera soon.

I think personally, i prefer everything on the pre-facelifts shape including the lights. Stick the new engine in that shape and that would be me well chuffed. I think this new shape is a step backwards IMO but the whole Audi range is getting this look, so i guess logic follows they all will.

Hello Everyone,
I'm not exactly new as I had a 2006 A3 S-Line about 3 years ago.
Since then I had a 320d M sport Coupe 2009 and now I picked up my 6 month old A4 Black Edition from my friends at Harrogate.
I had it a week and it had to go back for a rattle, but now it's back its had a full clay, SRP, EGP and Lifeshine.
It's a 1.8TFSI 160ps in Brilliant Red, planning a bluefin if I get bored with it later in the year.
Brilliant red was not my ideal choice, prefer Misano, but it was either this used, with all the goodies, HD Nav, HFS, AMI High, Milano Leather etc.... or a Brand new metallic black with MMI low, not HFS and cloth interior.... I like my goodies so this won!
The exhaust pipes were black when I got this car....2 hours later and they are now gleaming!

This is my A4, just got it this weekend
Ordered the Led number plate lights, Going in on monday for a respray on the front to tidy it up and getting grills and fogs done in gloss black at the same time, wanting to do the LED rear light conversion and eventually get some new wheels, would like some RS5s

Here's a pic of my 2.0 TFSI, had it just over a week and beginning to get used to it now. Love the way it looks just a little different to drive from my previous Leon which was a more involving drive. Got a few plans to sharpen her up though.
I should change my sig aswell, not had the S4 for about 5 years now.

Interesting spec, black roof rails and window trim alla black edition but chrome grill.

Yes, just the springs but the car was originally set up for 20" and it looked a little higher. I have dropped down to 19" and the car now looks even lower - even though the tyre profile means that the overall diameter is the same. I guess it is because the black tyre is invisible to the eye...

I like you style of rim but those rears have a touch too much poke for me. I don't really like the stretched look unless your running on the boards.

No more lowering this year. Besides, the H&R-springs will set soon, so the hight will be decreased...
I'm buying a house soon so the money will go for the house and building a garage for the B8.
In marz/april it hopefully runs on air....

That happened to me Dan.....no AMI cable. Went back to the garage, spoke to the guy that sold me the S3 and then voila.....was presented with the twin pack of AMI and USB cables. Nice car BTW. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh at the meet.
My new car arrived today. Really happy with it. Only the 143 version but quick enough for me as I drive like an old lady.
