Hi,

Was an Audi nut myself a few months ago but recently got an abarth, knowing how helpful this forum is I was wondering if I could get some advice.

Doing a bit of research for a friend, he's looking at the 1.4 sport a1.
What sort of savings have you guys managed to get or optional extras, trying to see how far you can push for discounts or free extras. He's looking at a pretty standard spec on finance if that helps?
 
I used an site called orange wheels, got a quote and took it into Audi dealer and got them to match it, saved just over £2K, and got 5 years free servicing on my Black Edition. I also think you best going on a really bad ( weather wise) day later on a Saturday or sunday afternoon. If the dealers had a **** day, they'll do the deal. Good luck
 
They really discount the petrol versions as the depreciation is awful
 
Thanks guys great to know! Didn't realise the petrol version depreciated so badly! My mates pretty set on an a1 and not really anything else,and too right they are awesome! Guess its finding the right model with low depreciation and the right spec to match!

My Daytona BE 2.0 tdi cost me £17138, list is over 21k

Yes, otherwise I wouldn't of suggested it. Take a screen print of your quote and try it.

Good deal Roo but in fairness look what you had to go through to get it. Compension just deserved mate.

I went in on the Saturday afternoon, did the deal and picked it up a couple of days later, no hassle. Besides the £2K+ I saved I also got a free Audi 4 ring key ring :yes: lol

There's deals to be made out there!

Prices have risen slightly and also don't now take into account the additional £750 Audi Finance payment which is also no longer included.

Considering the demand and waiting times for Audi A1's their depreciation is a disgrace

Dont worry the petrols don't it's the Audi's with the farm tractor engines you have to watch !!!! Who wants a clanking smokey slow diesel when you could have a smooth petrol instead ???????????????????????????????????????????????
 
Not sure about diesels being slow?
