Hi Guys,

Seems like I wasn't the only one to take my chances between the rain showers...

I bought a clay bar kit from the Edition 38 show a few weeks ago and finally got around to 'testing it on one panel' ... what'a'mistaka'to'mayka ... ended up doing the whole car + Auto Glym Super Resin polish + finally Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0. Sorry about the alloys ... they are actually quite clean just very sh*gged/

I feel sad now that people got round to cleaning their cars today. I aborted mission at the first sign of rain :(

Great effort though mate. Bet you spend the next week driving really slowly to try and keep it clean :racer:

I'll own up. I did this on Saturday when it was just overcast and not peeing down.

The photo of the wetness was taken this morning after it had 36 hours of rain.

Like 'The Doctor' said in his thread, I just love touching it [the car] it's so smooth and shiny now with it's super duper force field of magical polishy stuff. I've even got my housemates to stroke it :undwech:

I almost bought the Meguiars kit, in the end I got the AutoGlym kit as I got a good deal on that and a bag of good quality microfibre cloths, but they're both good kits I think.

It comes with the clay, detailer/lubricant spray and a microfibre cloth for removing the detailer residue. Mine also had a small super resin polish bottle as a freebie but I already have some.

It's time consuming but also very rewarding and you get to spend some quality time with your P&J.

Another +1 for the Megs kit. Very good and received similar results on my A3 too :)
