Sold the S3 yesterday so I just wanted to say thanks to a few people on here for all their help with fixing the S3 over the last couple of years haha. Particularly Badger5 and Tufty for their contibutions to threads and certainly to Nick @ R-tech who did the best remap on the s3 ever!!! But also to the folks I've met on here like Sandip and SuperKarl lol

Keep on eye on the classifieds as I'll have a bunch of stuff to sell cheap haha

Loving it so far, the auto box and the engine are a great combo! Nearly 260hp as standard but so much more relaxed! The S3 was great but it was time to get something newer and fancied as change as I've had VWs and Audis for the last 15 years. This is my first BMW !!!!
 
Hope you enjoy her Si,mate has one like that it's a lot of motor for the money.

Sorry to see you go bud....it's just a matter of time before you come back to Audi :) (Audi S4 or something) lol

Nice replacement! Has insurance gone up or down with this motor? I guess running costs would be similar, though BMW auto's do like a drink!

Thanks! Up by 25 quid a year with my current provider! Was looking at 335i's and that was only another 100 on top of the s3. Currently pay 400 a year for the s3.
It's cheaper to run! 2008 330i's do 37/38 mpg combined. On the run back from buying it, I got more mpg from the 330 than I did the s3, 36mpg vs 33 from the s3!
