Hi,

I am going to change the wheels on my A4 Tdi sport, I am going to get RS6 reps as they are good value for money, but i have 2 questions.

1, Does anyone have any pics of a A4 tdi with standard suspension with 18's on ?

2, Am i right in thinking that the correct size tyre is 235/40/18 ?

Help please.

Dom

Dom,

Sorry no pictures, but I have looked into the tyre sizes and OE 18's on the B6 A4 were fitted with 235/40/18's but most people seem to fit 225/40/18's on reps. The 225's are slightly cheaper. Offset probably needs to be more accurate with 235's too.

Cheers.

What would the right offset be, as I would want to fill the arches out without the need for spacers like on my S3 (and that run 8 1/2 x 19 with 10mm (front)and 15mm (rear) on it.

Hi,

here a couple of pics of my A4 with 18" RS6 (Ronals), it was the first thing I did when I got it, binned the 16's, the cars done an extra 30k since and does sit a little lower now, beware tyres are not cheap (for a good set anyway)

Nice wheels altho with 235's they catch the inner wheelarch plastic so I tried 225's and no probs!
I prefer the S4 ferrari style!

mike.
