MetroMaster's Build Thread

Evening all, the project continues! I've just been to Sheffield to visit Murran (John) a very nice chap off the forum who fitted my Cam Belt for me whilst I watched and learnt. So my peace of mind has been fully restored with the car.
Had and interesting week, fitted my Silicone TIP, second time lucky (I got sent the wrong one (AGU/ARZ) which is now for sale in the classifieds as I left it too long to return). Also got some other various silicone pipes fitted which smartens up the engine bay nicely.
Recieved some 8k LED side lights and number plate lights from germany which have no errors and makes the car look more... for want of a better word 'fresh' I would have posted some pics but its p**sing it down.

Now... Im in a bit of a predicament, I haven't got an FMIC or downpipe yet, but im feeling pretty desperate for more power and want it now! Im not sure whether to go ahead with a stage 1 R-Tech remap in the next week or two, or wait for 2 months when i've saved a bit of money and get an FMIC, downpipe and stage 2 remap all together... What are peoples thoughts? what kind of power would I be looking at from a stage 1 map?
Thanks alot,

probably better to go stage 2 as you will waste money on the stage 1 map altho rtech, i think, do discount when u go from their stage 1 to 2...

Added my 10mm spacers to the rear wheels today, started jacking up the rear, before it went on to the axel stand, turned out it had managed to lift both rear wheels xD before i polybushed the rear beam it used to just flop.. So impressed at how much more rigid they make the car

I got my brakes master cylinder replaced today, and by God its made a difference! The pedal is so much firmer and the car brakes like it's never done before! It wasn't cheap but im so impressed by the outcome.
