What do you keep in your boot? I have had my A6 for 2 weeks and did the weekly shop.

What annoyed me was that one bag opened up and all my shopping went everywhere. I had to dive into the boot much to my wifes amusement.

Do you have a boot liner or have the anti slip liner in yours?

I always tie the carrier bag handles together and drive a bit slower on the way back from the shop....

In my A4 I have hooks under the parcel shelf to hang the shopping on.

**** shopping thats her job in her cars

same as kite.... Curry Hooks are the way forward... it's a Passats part number, I first saw them on a brand new A4 Technilk that I had as a courtesy car a year or two ago... was gutted when I couldn't find the parts in the Audi parts catalogue... and then found out that they're VW Passat parts!

I got my curry hooks from VW: £5.50 each... 6Y5-867-615-B4.

Cheers for the advice. I have settled for a low fruit box from tescos (lol)
As I train the local youth team I have 2 folding goals and other items which I put in the car on weekends, but during the week its empty. Will have a look at the hooks.

Thanks all :)

that photo with the cargo net is slightly misleading... they're on damped-springs, so they glide up and sit pretty much completely flush with the top of the boot, so you don't lose any boot space... I think the cargo net was put there, so you could see them, otherwise the photo is jsut of two little canvas toggles hanging down (you pull on those to get the hooks to drop down).

Check your car - the A4 Technik that I had from Audi did NOT have the storage pack, but still had those.... and it was brand new, so unlikely to have been a retro-fit.

Cheers for the info.
I have settled for the box for the time being. I did think about adding a low box and attaching velcro straps to the bottom so it stays in place.

I do like the cargo net idea though.

Was also wondering if everyone keeps their spare wheel in the boot? I noticed the amount of space you can have it you removed it. :)

alternatively: get a low profile alloy for your spare.... it's NOT good for weight, but I've got a V6 TDI and quattro, so weight is assumed as "high": I'm always stunned at how much I fit into the inside of the 18" S4 spare versus my winter wheel spare (original 16" "trapeze" alloy).
