URGENT HELP!

this is driving me insane now. the cars a 2.0 tdi the battery light flickers when driving hard are round corners,and sometimes even cuts out! then turns back on has though the battery has been disconnected then back on.... but even more wierdly the DPF warning light comes on the CAN display when the car turns back on after its cut off.... but i dont have a DPF because mine is the 140 BPW engine, battery is fine and alternator has been tested. ive had it plugged into VCDS and the over boost code came up ive had the VNT's cleaned and now its going to the garage for a new turbo does anyone know if all these faults are linked? sorry for the speel but am at wits end with it now and am just goner sell it if it carrys on.

ok cheers guys, the good news is that it was the alternator. ive learnt quite abit about the car this weekend which i didnt know... it does have a DPF! i just thought it was the newer 170 models... guess not the turbo and DPF are fine, but il defo be getting the DPF removed for more MPG!! anyway cheers for your input much appericated
