Hi,

Can anyone recomend a good boost guage (in terms of quailty and looks) for my 1.8T sport (which will hopefully also get a remap soon). Also where can i buy them from?

Thanks Anand

Not sure which one is best, but my mate is starting up a new business & is able to get boost gauges from the US & will give a very competitive price!

Not a great help as far as which one to go for I know, but once you've decided it could help!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif

if you want the daddy then have a look into defi gauges, they are expensive but wen you see um they are smart, they have a sequence wen you turn the ignition on and off.

have a look at the website or search for defi

you wont be dissapointed

Here is my BG it is complete digital unit so tells you boost peak, etc.
It also tells me the boost temp as well.
It glows red when the ignition is switched on the same colour as the dash etc.

how much of a job is it to cut the air vent slats and make a neat job?

saying that one of my preferences is that it could be easily hidden.

whilst my car is modded and the dealers know, i dont see the need to show them the boost its running

@ Paul S3,

That looks like the SKN gauge, there £199 and 40mm wide x 15mm high IIRC.

I was looking at moving the ESP button to one side and fitting that in the gap but its too much hassle.

Looking back at the SKN, youre right its different. That one above looks to be finished better and as you say is not a little box.

If you find any further info let me know matey. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
