Injectors being inspected, can I demand that all injectors are replaced inc' loom ??

Can any1 give me any info on what rights I have with booking my car into Audi, it goes in on the 11th & I would like as much back up info to fire at them to make sure the car will be given the full recall As it should !!
Don't want them bluffing me & saying only two injectors need replacing when it should be the full set - has any1 had the loom replaced as well ??

Yes mate, mine had all four injectors replaced and the loom.
There is a number of threads on this.

If your injectors are part of the faulty batch on recall then they will replace all four and loom as a safety precaution.
 
Cheers Danny, Nokia am sure it's the " piezza " injectors - I maybe wrong but am sure that's what I read off these guys on this forum ??
 
my recall letter states 'piezo unit injector' had all 4 of mine replaced and the loom

Yes mine were the pieza injectors, and I think that got replaced with the Siemens injectors from the newer models.

I thought I read somewhere pieza injectors, will be all over them like a rash to make sure they change the full set & the loom !!

Just bought the car last week, don't fancy the bill to replace that little lot ! Ha
 
had mine in at teesside audi for this the other day mate, very good service, they changes all four and the loom, however when i got there before they did anything they did mention that they intend on changing all injectors but if one or more have been replaced all ready by previous owner for what ever reason then they will only be renewing the ones required, excellent service from teesside audi tho ans the car is so much better now :)

My car is a bit missy when firing up from cold, hopefully this cure it ..............:respekt:
 
Don't bank on it fixing cold start roughness!

But as said, they will generally replace all 4 and the loom; remember the dealer WANTS to do as much work on the car they can as they charge AUDI UK for the warranty work costs involved.
 
Well i dropped my car off to get the injectors done, i was told they are not putting a new loom on the recalls anymore for some reason ??
They changed the said injectors & the car running really lumpy so they gotta order a loom cos they have none in stock !! Muppets......
So they gave me a A1 pimped out TFsi to run about in til they get it sorted !!
