Hi My S3 has developed a really bad noise when turning either left or right. It happens all the time I just wonders if anybody nows of a guide on here on how to change the steering pump or if any one else has any ideas . I thought that I would start with that

You have checked the fluid i take it, as the pipes corrode under the car and you end up loosing the fluid, is it the wineing noise?

I had some issues last year with my steering rack. Would get some odd clicking and squeaking noises coming from the rack when driving slow (parking). Also steering was pretty vague centrally. Replaced the rack with a reputable reconned one - job done.
