Just wondered when your s3 comes on boost? My standard s3 seems to kick in 3500 rpm, coming from a tuned ko3s this seems really late, just wondered if this is normal? My car seems to be running pretty well overall, logged it at just over 200bhp from airflow figures which doesn't seem to bad for a 2000 car, it'll be a bit different soon though.....!!
How does your car do in standard form?

I think my A3 comes in at around 2K if thats any help.

Thanks for replying but NO! It doesn't...Only because my A3 came on nice and early but the s3 seems to come on much later and was wondering when anybodies S3 does......

Lol I thought this once. Full boost seems to come around 3k-3.5k. But mines mapped.

Feel mine pulling not much after 2k to be honest, thought it was supposed to kick in around 2.2?

Lazy spool could be a number of things... more recently I have seen this on a TT where the actuator preload was not adjusted right... he did have an incorrectly setup Forge actuator fitted and after a tweak was boosting where it needed to be... (can't remember where off hand...)

Here is a plot of JoJo's S3 to give you an idea, he is running stage 1 iirc...

Not sure if that was before or after a MAF change...

Fuelling is ok ish tbh... heading in the right direction... get best torque at mid 13's and best power at mid 12's so fuelling wise you can see whats going on here... also bear in mind he is only running around 18psi so not a torque monster but made good power and everything was consistent from what I recall on the dyno...

jo's graphs look great, torque holds well. usually they look like it completely plummets after 5k.

i find mine is full boost just after 3k, say 3200 ish. standard map, 1bar. 191g/s

Just so everyone knows, this is from a prehistoric AmD stage1 map done some 7 maybe 8 years ago off the top off my head and Badger5 3" Intake, nothing else!

Mine seems rather sluggish and asmatic at the moment, quite a step down acceleration wise from my a3. However due to a tax rebate its going for a checkup and REVO map from Volkscraft in Exeter next week, that should sort it!!!!
