im about to start enquiring at getting my lowers painted on my 18T. im going to do the s line lower front spoiler upgrade whilst im at it and also put an s4 bumper on rear.

Has anyone on here put an S4 rear onto theirs ????? and how much is an s4 rear bumper ?
 
Was toying with this as well, will S4 bumpers fit a standard A4 quattro?..... front OR rear...????
 
S4 rear bumper is a little deeper looking and is a great mod but they are ££££££££ and only pop up every now and then. A company in the US (EBAY.COM) are selling them but i have no idea of shipping cost's ..... Group buy of s4 bumper's me think's.. lol

Landspeed- I was lucky enough to buy thr car with the S4 kit already fitted by the previous owner. He was, or still is as far as I know, a member on here and was fanatical about the car, he only sold it to move onto a 3.0 TDi quattro after owning it for 7 years. He spent a lot of time and money on the car and sourced only genuine parts for everything, so not entirely sure where he bought it from, maybe vag parts as I have loads of receipts from them. I've simple just carried on the tradition of using only the best parts for it and maintaining it as it's always been maintained and looked after. :)
 
I have a plan,

If Az finds a full votex kit, he'll sell/swap the s4 kit.

I've got a gmbh kit but want the s4 kit, i have an avant so would need an avant rear bumper

Landspeed wants the gmbh front & s4 saloon rear,

see where i'm going with this...?
 
is vag parts still running, done a search on google and it brings up some domain website

xs2man - thats how the back of mine would look like, black, de-badged with an s4 bumper :yum:
 
I carbon wrapped the lower part of my S4 rear bumper ;)!!

C17LJR we basicly need to find someone who has a S4 avant who wants a gmbh rear & another with a votex kit so we can all swop ?????

Exactly what I was gonna say! Someone find me a full genuine Votex kit and we can talk gravy! :)

cfoster - where did you get your rear pmate made if you don't mind me asking? That's the same length plate I'm after as I have a 5 digit plate too, and the less yellow the better! Did you get new wheels in the end?
 
By the way vag parts is no longer trading. :( that was a good place to by stuff too!
 
yeah i remember vag parts from a few years ago, is there anything running now similar to vag parts ?

i don't mind buying a new s4 avant rear if i have too. we'd just need to find the full votex kit :(
 
Az - I have a signwriting company that also make numberplates so did them myself!! Pm me if you want a set!! Havent got new wheels yet, still toying of selling her and getting a newer S3 or TT!!
 
Nice find landspeed, although like you say the side skirts are well pricey! Probably get them over here a lot cheaper, rear skirt is a bargain though!

I'll defo have a set of plates off you cfoster! I'll pm you in a sec. I can see where your coming from about possibly selling to get a new s3, I do like them a lot and have grown on my big time this last year, would be less juicy than the s4 too, although having said that, I reckon a set of 19" Matt black bbs ch's with the silver pin stripe lip would look awesome on your s4. ;)
 
think you can tell that differs to the oem s4 bumper, who's to say it'll be a direct fit too?

plus for all the hassle of ordering & shipping, I'd think you could get one from audi for almost the same price

Well if you read the page you would see that it is a direct replacement and the only difference i can establish at the mo (but will keep looking) is that it lacks the chrome strip next to the boot lid! an easy mod i wud have thought for someone capable with body repair .... the diffuser is the prob as cannot find pics which show clearly if its flush to the bumper or has a wee lip as per the S4 part. It looks flush tbh!

If i was offered it with a reasonable shipping price tho i'd snap their arm for it as its a one piece and would have thought it to be quite original here in the UK. Can't see how a couple of clicks of a mouse is "a hastle" either.

Also, do Audi still sell the S4 bumpers then??? if so and if they are cheaper than the £420 approx it wud cost for that bumper to get to UK, why is this thread even running? I would have thought everyone wud have done it already!

Very quick to critisise really for someone that didn't even read the link!!
 
Sorry, I did read the link. You can see the diffuser looks more flush to the bumper than what the s4 one is for starters.

Most bumpers/kits on the net say a direct replacement, doesn't mean it'll fit as good as oem,

As for hassle, You don't know how well it'll fit, so you can't say a couple mouse clicks is no hassle, coming from America or canada it could quite easily get damaged, much more hassle than buying from a dealer 10 minutes down the road

Just my opinion
 
ive got a rear avant gmbh bumper/skirt, but 2 holes in the bumper for after market sensors and small cut on lower edge of skirt for towbar, its sat in my unit gather dust
 
With lower valance Scott? Petrol or diesel?

I'll maybe take it, much you after?

Fair points tho Karl, maybe i was just getting ahead of myself as it looked nice! on further inspection i think it looks quite flat as well if that makes sense?! Doesn't stick out as much from the boot . . . .

Decided to go for the s-line lips for now tho!
 
Hi Turkster,

i purchased a s4 rear bumper, s-line front lower spoiler with the 3 spoiler grills for around £500 iirc
