Hi All,

I have recently started to spend some cash on the engine and wanted to know if you guys can help me.
The car already has a been mapped (Custom Code) and has a Pipercross panel filter, Forge 007p, N75J, 4 bar fuel Pressure Reg.
i am thinking of a TIP next but wanted to know if the Badger 5 will make more differance than say a Autobahn or any silicone replacement?
Also i will be getting a Milltek Cat back system soon and also thinking of a Forge actuator, will this be a good move and any other suggestions on gaining more BHP for little work?

Badger 5 is defiantly the TIP to get.
If you do the exhaust system think about a 3" downpipe too, that will give you improved turbo response but the cat back will do nothing other than change the note and volume of your exhaust.
Not much point in the actuator on a stock K04, mayeb a FMICinstead, if you do all 3, Badger 5 TIP, FMIC and 3" downpipe (catback optional) you can then get mapped to stage 2 ( revo recommended but maybe custom code stage 2) and see some reasonable gains.

Don't bother changing the actuator... there is nothing to be gained on a std turbo and the Forge ones are problematic at best...

I'd forget the cat back exhaust. All the performance gains will be had by changing the front of the exhaust system, exhaust manifold and the downpipe. You wont get much gain, if any from the Cat back.

You will gain some more noise though, and if a car sounds better, you feel like you are going faster :)

What's the difference between an Autobahn TIP and the Badger 5 one other than cost?

thats some nice girth there Westy ;)

I got the autobahn TIP fitted as it was much cheaper than the B5.
I didnt really see any difference though, or at least feel any difference.

I have heard the B5 TIP makes a noticeable difference though! So as others have said go with that if you can afford it :)

I was told by a friens to get one. As you can tell i am not great at engine mods, actually dont have a clue!
was it a waste of money then?
