Audis in the Park 2011....Official Update!

Mine arrived today! Can't wait.

Got so much to do, and my bodies just decided to give me a stinking cold over the hottest days of the year. Great.

Just dawned on me... is it one "wristband" per car or per person?

The wristband covers the car AND occupants!.........alternatively if you are paying on the gate, the £6 covers the car AND occupants also!

Much cheapness!:hubbahubba:

Tonight my mate and I started day 1 of a 3 day clean ready for AITP:

Sadly due to multiply reasons - moving house, starting a new job Monday, wheels not being refurbed in time, losing a center cap and the replacements taking a fortnight to come from HongKong, etc I won't be making it to AITP :sob: but my loss can be someone elses gain. So anyone in the Coventry/Warrickshire area want a wrist band for free, send me a PM and we can sort out getting it to you. First come first served!

Mines getting done sat afternoon and then im going over it to get it as good as it can be :arco:

Right then.....Im on a persuasion mission now, so I may just be there now....cant promise, but I will try and grace you all with my presence :)

The car might be a little dirty, but hey, who needs a clean car when the Nilz is in the house - WOOP WOOP!!!

Silver, as already confirmed by Dane, Speedy and Tufty, is obviously the fastest colour (mine may be an exception to the cause)

Can ah get an AMEN please brothers!!! :moa:

I'm not even going to go down the speed route.
I can do the speed limit and get really good MPG.
So I just might past all you fast taxi looking drivers when you run out of fuel :)

I think Yellow is also reasonably quick....

yeah theres you a lizard representing imola

If anything the only thing that will get cleaned is the wheels so they are nice and sparkly :)

Oh and apologies for the thread diversion, im known to be a bit of a distraction...lol

I've cleaned mine earlier in the rain but didn't get chance to clean inside as it bounced it down.

Will give it a wipe over after the 2 & 1/2 hour drive in morning!

Phew.... just finished, and I don't mean cleaning, I mean modding. This morning my car had no wheels on, no headlights, no front bumper and no rear bumper. All done and washed now, just a little detailing to do in the garage later and all will be ready!

BTW, anyone got VAG-COM and can bring it tomorrow? I've installed xenons and just need them coding. Ta very much to anyone that can help me out.

Dang. I do have 2 different cables, not sure what they are. I'm sure I got one to work on my old B7. If I bring them maybe we could give them a go? I could never get much of VAG-COM to work.

I'll bring mine and the laptop nae bother

I have a black audi s3 with anthracite wheels and my names Joe

Just a quick post to say many thanks to Calvin(DriveByShooters) for arranging Audi's in the Park, we know the time and effort you put towards this, and hopefully, we continue the tradition next year to bring Audi enthusiasts from all over the country to one location!

It was good to finally meet a few of you that I've been chatting to, to finally put a face to the name, and apologies to those I didn't get to speak to.

And finally, many thanks to the ASN members who attended and represented Audi-Sport! We was easily the stand with the most attendance, but alas, that was not enough to win the best stand award this year, but we will bounce back stronger next year with better presentation, so watch this space!

Joe
