Airfilter question

Friend has a 99 A3 and has a brand new k and n filter on it, He is selling his car...

I have a 55 plate a3 (both 1.6's) would the airfilter fit my car? Its a 57i intake

HI,The filter is prob the same,the engine is the same unit in both cars.

best bet is to try it to check there space for it.
