Hi Guys,
Myself, Robbie, Andy, Matt, James, Martin, Gareth and Ganglion are taking part in the Three Peak Challenge in aid of Help for Heroes, which consists of walking the highiest mountains in Britain (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within 24 hours. This will take place on the 6th of August 2011 and start around 06:00 and plan to be finished at 06:00 the following day (fingers crossed).
Im sure that you will agree that Help For Heroes is a brilliant charity, so lets get together and make a change to our heroes who have been injured whilst fighting to protect us and our country.
Many Thanks
Rob
You can make a donation via the link below, thanks for taking your time to have a look.

Have you done this before or spoke with people who have? It will be more running than walking if you want to do it in 24 hours, and you had better hope the M6 traffic is in your favour. Oh, and get a driver who isn't doing the 3 peaks.

Good luck.

This will be our first attempt, been researching it online for a number of weeks now. I had someone offer me to drive today so thats all sorted now. Have you done this yourself?
Thanks

Yes, many years ago when I was young and fit, well attempted it, took us over 38 hours to complete it. The weather wasn't in our favour either.
Be at the start and base of Ben at 6.00 and you may well have a chance, eat well and keep hydrated. Don't take these peaks lightly, people have been known to die on them.

Well at least you completed it. Yeah thats the time I had planned on being at the base by. I dont believe for a second this will be easy but we will all give it our best. Hopefully we will all return home safe and sound lol

Funnily enough I am going up Snowdon on Monday with my wife. we are getting the train up and walking down !

lol, Im planning on going up there just for some training with my misses at the end of the month. I was there last week, they are charging £25 for the tram!!! I hope you enjoy it, I love it up there

I would suggest to go to the Lake District and climb Castle Crag, its the smallest one but its very steep, it will give you a good idea what you will be up against for Scarfell, you can see it from the top of Castle Crag. Nevis has a tourist path !
