As per the title - having recently purchased a 2001 facelift S4 - I am worried by the lack of breaking. Having owned a UrS4 which ended up running some rather large Porsche 'Big-Red' callipers - I am keen to understand if I can put later struts on the B5, be it B6/7, with later RS4 callipers etc. Additionally will this require a rear brake upgrade to address any bias issues?

As a side - I understand that the use of Yellow EBC pads is regarded by some as a stage I upgrade - is this correct?

Apologies if this has been asked before - I couldn't find anything in relation to this topic.

Br,

pretty much right yes.

the S4 uprights already have the correct spacing for the larger ATE or RS4 calipers. You can offset the unsprung weight by putting alloy B7 uprights on if you like ( it's what i did ) Brakes are awesome.

For the rear i would visit Audi SRS and contact Trig, he makes brackets that allow fitment of 300mm B6 discs whiles still utilising your original caliper and pads. It's what i am going to do when he has this batch ready
