Hiya bud, i used some hycote high build primer, with hycote paint and loads of laquer mate, been fine so far :)

I seen the coolant cap on awesome ? does that not fit? i hate the standard blue ones, horrible

To poliah the inlet you first need to sand it flat, as its textured. Then wet n dry to get it smooth and rubbing/polishing compound.
I had a go on mine, the amount od Sanding and rubbing needed is crazy, I gave up in the end and polished it, its shiny, but no means mirror finished. I believe s3_kev did his the same way, but his looked awesome, god knows how.

Like the cover but i'd have gone with black pipes as well

i mirror polished my scirocco inlet. never again! basically just progressively finer sand paper. a machine like a dremel may speed it up...

Thanks for the replys :) i quite like the blue but some people dont, think i may pay someone to do it, can anyone recommend someone?
