Not 100% new to the forum as I had a 2.6 V6 until recently but the Auto box was not for me, so recently I've purchased a S Reg 2.8 V6 Quattro SE. Its abit of a state and needs some TLC, had a lot of owners but it was cheap and the engine sounds spot on. The issue I have is that it has plenty of service stamps in the book but no mention of any Timing Belt changes. The engine code is ACK063616, could anyone help to tell me, is this a timing chain based engine which doesnt require a change, or is it a Belt and what the intervals are ?
