My car has 62'000 on the clock and it just went to Audi because it started making an odd noise at idle. They investigated and found that it was the alternator pulley, which they changed and (swallow) £350 later the noise is no more and my car is running beautifully again.
However, Audi put the following recommendations on their health check report: -
i) Oil leak from EGR valve, req new valve and gaskets £243
ii) Turbo leaking oil. Reg new turbo and nuts and gaskets £1,225
iii) Recommend new turbo oil feed and return pipes £295
iv) Front intercooler pipe seals are leaking. req new seals and cleaner £90
How seriously should I take this? It doesn't seem to drink an unusual amount of oil, so I'm guessing the leaks are pretty small. What should I do next?
