Ive just bought an S3 which i think has had some work done on it, but im not sure. Looking under the car the exhaust looks stock but does make quite a lot of noise. Im worried it might be blowing a little, my theory is that it had a miltek or something on their that got swapped back when it was sold but not fitted right? I get a little burble on lift off but around 4k plus refs the exhaust sounds quite loud, not as loud or burbly as my Impreza though but more towards the end of the exhaust. Any ideas?

My stock S3 zorst was pretty quiet, even under full throttle. The resonated Milltek is also pretty quiet - slightly throatier on tickover & at full chat, but still quiet & unobtrusive.
Could it be a custom zorst? Get it checked out fella - sounds like you already suspect it's wrong. The Jungleman's Youtube idea will help you out...

Stock exhaust depending on how hard the car is driven is pretty quiet, you really do need to cane it to get a rip off it. In high gear putting the foot down it's more of a low drone you get.

hmmm very strange, mine sounds quite noticeable, it doesnt look like a stainless one at all so perhaps its blowing a little. will get it to the garage to get checked out! Couldnt find any standard exhaust clips on youtube for comparison
