I am about to buy the above vehicle privately from a friend and looking for advise concerning the price of £9k. It does seem to be quite a rare model as been looking for months and hardly any for sale on autotrader etc. It has a good spec with front/rear spoilers, side skirts, sports suspension, leather sports seats, bose sound system, xenon lights, spare wheel, full audi service and literally had cambelt and discs and pads replaced last week. Its done 85k mileage. Is it overpriced?? It is in immaculate condition and i really want it. happy to pay top money but not to be ripped of?

If i had a spare 9k burning my pocket i would save a bit more and look for a b7 3.0 tdi quattro ! I reckon its too much for a b6...
About 6-7 grand tops? Its only worth what you wanna pay mate to be honest but certainly 9 large for a 04 plate quattro is a bit too much...Look on trader or ebay and see similar aged cars. I have a friend with a 52 plate a4 v6 tdi quattro, 102 k on the clock and immaculate inside out: leather,xenons,GMBH bodykit,etc. He's had it for 5k for quite a while on autotrader and nobody called unless they offered silly money ! I wont think a 2 years younger car would fetch any more than 6-7 k, it costs about 500-1000/year the newer the car is.
