my BAM S3 on its new shoes ( X5 wheels)

I think they look really good. The dark colour goes well with your S3. Any way you can lose the BMW centre caps though?

Agree with the above sentiments. I bet your mind is on darkening those windows too.....go on I know you want to.

love that mate.... but them centers

i had a set of these on my s3 about a year ago .. had 265/30 on the back with 25mm adapters.. rubbed slightly, i would suggest 255/30 for maximum width without rubbing

Seen a pic of your car i think on the picture thread? Gave me the confidence knowing they'd fit for sure lol. Good work mate. I'm only running 20mm adapters so don't know how extra width would affect the inner arches.

I'm aiming to go a little darker on the windows and headlights. And the caps are being replaced with audi or carbon soon as i can.

front i had 235/35 with 20mm adapters .. You should be ok with wider rear tyre as i have run an 11" rear porsche wheel before (which i believe is the widest rim you can fit without modifications). As yours is 10" you will have an extra 1.25cm clearance each side of the rim over the 11" porsche one (obviously offset is a factor, the porsche rear wheel with adapter was et30).. At the mo i have 10.5" on the back with 255/30 with no issues, unfortunatly i cant tell you the offset though as it isnt printed on the rim

ive just bitten the bullet and bought some black angel eyes.. not expecting much but hoping they look ok, may well leave the angel eye bits unplugged if its possible !!

and i bought some smoked/red led tail lights.. he he .. if any of it looks chavvy then its not staying on !!

Yea i like the oem rear light's at the mo. Seen people painting the inside of the headlamp's but don't fancy splitting them.

Thanks guys. Was partly the dare i say it- quite rare colour that sold this one to me. Love the colour

why dont you try and cover it with vynl iv done mine its cheap on ebay easy to fit and if u dont like it or fancy a change u can just strip it off. all u need is a hair dryer and a stanley blade. 3m prob do the best quality as it doesnt distort or lose colour when its heated and stretched

looks the muts! lovin it, what size are the alloys please

Lol its nice to know people take the time to read the whole thread, looks sick chapman, and I was worried about 8.5s pah!

Do it! 10s are no problem for the rear arches at all. Cars gonna be for sale soon as we have a baby on the way now and could do with the money else where so if anybody fancies the wheels as a full package in part exchange for their own at a good price seeing as the car is being sold anyway drop me a pm and we'll sort something out.

They are the early snowflake type mate. 9x19 front 10x19 rear. 215 35 and 225 35 tires. H and R 20mm adapters. Final offsets 28 front...25 rear. Rather close to inner arch and sat bang on flush to outer arch. No catching with 3 up so all good.
So if I had to use 15mm adaptors the wheels have less chance of rubbing? Or will this cause different problems. Audi A3 tdi 130 standard suspension

the thread back from the dead….. all the way back from 2011!

Personally id advise against fitting 19" wheels on a standard ride height car, you'd be able to hide a small family in the arch gap.
