Thanks for that.

Im still waiting before any more mods to get the engine fixed property first. If the cars ok i will be taking it to shows this year, i have decided!

it was my first A4 i looked at. having it sprayed white is on my very long to do list though.

And of course it needs lowering. i have the shocks already, gonna lower it on eibachs just need the springs. cant wait to get that mod done!

Beautiful. I too like my crystal blue but hanker after something else. I'm thinking of a vinyl wrap rather than respray though.
Question... does the s-line rear valance sit out any further than the standard? My S4 milltek pipes sit out too far and I need to decide if i'm going to cut them and have them welded on. I've recently realsied the s4 bumper sits out more, hence the pipes don't make it look like a wheelbarrow, as per my current setup :)

fourcircle - the s-line rear valance follows the angle of the bumper, so looking side on to it, it goes almost straight down )see in sig below), whereas i'm sure the standard a4 valance curves back in underneath much more? might look alittle better

the s4 rear bumper is altogether more bulky,

thanks matey. I think there's a slight difference with the s-line but I think I definitely need to lose a lump off each side to prevet anyone accidentally falling over them. Picture isn't the clearest. what do you think?

Here is a quick comparison. The bumper in the top pic is the standard grey SE bumper no exhaust cut outs.

The painted bumper is the S-Line/Sport bumper with the black vinyl sticker insert, again no cut outs. You can see they are basically the same, except for the sporty "lip" on the bottom half of the valance.

Hope that helps!

genius. thanks mate. that's kind of what I thought. Looks like I need to chop a bit off those tips before someone loses an eye

thanks guys, new wheels delivered today so changes happening soon, check my build thread for sneek peek

Whats the offset on them? They sit spot on in the arches.

Do you know I dont even know I did'nt even look, all I know is that they came off a 2001 Merc CLK, I thought at that price even if they did'nt fit I'd sell them on, but as luck has it, like you said, the offset is spot on !

haha, cheers Josh.

Been a long time coming, wanted these from the day i bought the car.

Got alot more ground clearance now but got some rubbing on the arches so i'll need to raise it slightly,

Looks amazing. I really want these wheels to. I have just managed to get me a set of lm reps. Bored of my wheels now. Hopefully they will look as good as urs do

Nothing special as the car is currently in its winter disguise! and the shot is taken from my iPhone....

Nice stance C17LJR.. :) How do the 19's compare to the ride on the 18's?

Cheers gavlar, painter and surfer!

It rides really well on the 19s to be honest, I'd say better than the 18s so far as I can relax alittle due to having a little more ground clearance,

Simon - no! Can get about another half a metre into it but don't have the full use of it still :(

Sump isn't a problem, subframe and sills, that's all

Lovely Jon, decided on new wheels yet or sticking with the holstens?

Carl, staying with the Holstens right now, but keeping my eyes out! Gotta say your Bentleys made me take another look at them, got my beadys on a set at the moment but a little undecided! I think strong looking wheels suit the A4.
