Hi there,

I'm new to the forum and would just like peoples opinions on the best induction kit for the 8p S3 factoring in cost. I see many people seem to go for the ITG but find their website unhelpful for prices etc. Like the look of the Forge twin-take but would appreciate peoples suggestions. Had a BMC CDA on my olf MK4 Golf GTI and enjoyed the noises it made!

The basic plan is the get an induction kit, some sort of de-cat system (doubt I can face shelling out for a full turbo back system) and a decent remap.

Thanks in advance!

I have an ITG and been very impressed with it so far. Sounds nice, and gave a good performance increase (21bhp after map was tweaked)

Thanks for the replies! How much did the ITG cost, if you don't mind me asking? Could you recommend a retailer?

Thanks again.

hi mate awesome gti sell the itg intake for £300 + vat...

sorry badger,, hi jungleman hows the brakes anymore pictures .. love these bad boys....

hey
yea am going to do a build thread, just uni has been manic the last couple weeks!!
the brakes are amazing, had to get them skimmed so they are still bedding in but the way they scrub speed off is amazing and with the weight reduction has really sharpened up the handling!!

Hi Mate,

I literally just got one of these from Santa....still in box and all. Decided to stick with stage 1 revo & TBE for the time being. I believe the elves paid exactly £300 & vat and maybe delivery?!? Packaging has £21.65 RM special delivery stickers on her.

I' willing to let her go - as I said still not broken the packaging in the box.....for £300 delivered anywhere in UK.....that comes in about 20-25% off retailer.

PM me if interested.

Cheers,

I have the ITG on mine, and it seems absolutely fine with 440bhp,and isn't too noisy either.

Vagbadger Give Steve or Craig a ring at Statller on attercliffe they do the evoms kits plus tuning and servicing etc and have done a few peoples cars etc on here

Buy one you like the look of, i was going to buy a carbon one but in the end choose a BSH true seal kit which in my opinion looks a lot better than some systems out there.

Yeah young Steve is a good friend of mine, haven't had the chance to go down yet for a chat. Have any of you people been unfortunate enough to pull up alongside his Edition 30?

nope but i know it flys with 390+bhp on tap
