Are 3dr and 5dr parcel shelves the same

As above .the tw@t dealer i bought my sportback from stole the matts and parcel shelf before i returned to collect the car .he covered the missing matts with paper and i did not take a look in the boot prior to collection sadly ! i rang and got the usual crap they were not there,THEY 100% Were in place when i viewed the car..
...blokes a :banghead:
Anyway i really need a black parcel shelf are they all the same ?

Tell um you want to look tho there cctv or they can have the car back, what eles have they taken from it!

Yes mate we were Thinking what else did he remove ,we going back to give the tw@t a good hiding but why bother ending up in jail ?

Please does anyone know if a 3 door and five door parcel shelve are the same .i am desperate to get one asap seen one somewhere at a good price and need to know
 
I have a 3 door would you like me to measure it for you or do you have a three door?
 
At the Pivot point it is 915mm wide at the over end near the back window its 1000mm wide and from back window to the back seats its 555mm.

i'm afraid i don't know for certain, but something's telling me that they are the same

i'd just call an Audi dealer in the morning and ask their parts dept

surely that would have been the sensible option?

Already tried this theyare far from helpful !!!
 
then call a different dealer lol

some are very helpful and others are SH!T. i take it you're new to Audi ownership then lol... some will bend over backwards for you, and others aren't worth the petrol money you spend driving to them

No i have had a few audis :), i usually use sanburns in Cov , for spares as the stealers are reddiculously priced !And in my opinion asking them(dealers) anything is like some sort of high security jokeathon! .I have had all the older golf gtis vr6 's etc etc .i am now converted to A3's after owning a couple of the older models ..Thanks for your help
 
how close are you to birmingham? if it's not too tough for you to nip into the city centre we could try my 3dr parcel shelf in your car

Thanks a lot mate if i get time i may just do that !!! I am going to ring a few dealers tomorrow before i contact you or get told on here .im in Coventry ;-)
 
100% sure its different guys, the sportback uses all different panels from the rear seats backwards.

Thanks Lee will have to look again then .. one other question mylog book says A3 SPORT TDI .whats the diference
to a sportline ? or am i thick im new to all these varients LOL
 
Yeah they are different, I made the mistake of buying one that didnt fit and ended up having to sell it on...

Sportback is the Audi name for all 5 door A3's
Sport is the trim level of your car, so yes you can get a Sport Sportback!
Sportline is what some people call S-line, its the trim level above sport.

Hope that clears it up!?
 
Sport models and S-Lines (and S3s now) have a sun blind in the rear parcel shelf.

i owned a Sport for 5 years, and i've owned an S-Line for 7 months and i never used the sun blind once

ergo save some cash and get a regular one, if it's cheaper
