Hi
I have both an A3 2.0tdi and a 316 compact. However, the 316 spends most of its time in the garage (at home), and with a cost of £700 to insure, tax and MOT i'm starting to think, whats the point. Shame really as its a great car, and i've owned it nearly 8 years, but for economy the Audi wins hands down.

Anyone else own/ run more than one car.

I have a GSXR 600 k4 motorbike thats currently sat in the garage waiting for me to finish my ''restriction'' on my license! May 2011 i'll be jumping back aboard it, but for now its just depreciating :(

My dad has a S-Class, thats driven around 2,000-4,000 miles a year. Only when theirs a funeral or wedding somewhere in the country my dad will leave their van at home and take the S-Class so it only gets long motorway runs normally to birmingham etc, but the rest of the time its sat in the drive depreciating! £50,000 car and its on a trickle charger all its life! :'(

Plus insurance on the merc is £600 a year, and road tax is £425 so £1,000 just for that!

I have a Yamaha FX-HO CRUISER 180HP JET SKI in my mum and dads garage!

I've got a company car as well as my S3. It's a starship mileage Citroen Xsara diesel. Unfortunately, it's so dull and frustrating to drive that I end using my own car all time even though it costs me loads in petrol and the Xsara is free. I haven't driven the Citroen for months.

i have a 07 vivaro for my plumbing business and an S3. Its expensive but essential. I dont think I would bother having two cars, thats just greedy

A nice split between performance and practicality.

No its something much better, its a low light early bay. Splitties stopped in 1967

Sold the Fiesta just before we split, should have booted her out instead and kept the Fiesta.

I've got (well its the Wife's, but I pay for it) a 2002 52 plate A2...

Its horrible and I don't like it!

Unfortunately, since I got the A4, neither does she.... :(

I have just bought myself (between Christmas and New Year eve) a black Audi A4 2.6se auto. Nice and smooth, comfortable and the most practical car I have had in a few years

I also own an Escort mk4 RS Turbo Cabriolet in white with white hood, which I am trying to sell so I can spend some money on the Audi :icon_thumright:

Not got funds to use both as the Escort is SORN but will be back in a few months for spring time I think :eyebrows:

Got the S3 and the missus has a Polo SE.

Have them both insure on an Admiral Multicar Policy, prices were really good.

For those that dont use their cars much, cant you do a limited mileage thing, where it charges less if you dont do many miles??

currently running an A4 and a Victory 8 ball, used to have A4 Rover v8 M535 and Suzuki Bandit didnt have time to use them all though.
