Back With Another 8L :) - For the 3rd Time :D

Hello all,

Sold my A3 a while back, ended up with a Mk1 GTi... Then today I swapped the Mk1 for a Black S3 :yum:

(Think Im Hooked?)

Will get some pictures up asap.

I do have a problem with the speakers which id like to pick your brains about...
Seems that only the front door speakers work? The Rear door speakers/Sub arent working? CD Player settings are set to 50/50? Any suggestions would be great.

back to topic, is it an aftermarket head unit? if so, a £10 iso plug from an independent audio centre will do the trick!

Your a nutter mate, perhapsyou'lk stick with this one.

With reference to your stereo could it be a problem with the amps, if its non-bose, the rears and subs are amped and the front are off the HU. Im ripping out my bose system at the moment if you need anything...

Maybe, Ive still got the Bora but it never gets used, undecided on what to do with that to be honest.

)... done £2025 of damage, Didnt I do well! haha.

Ye i miss da S3... always wanted an S4 when i had one though so avoided the temptation of buying another....
one day maybe! S4 engine/running gear in an S3 would be ideal....

hi adam, im over in blackburn, lancs: the shop i got it from is called in car hifi. if you pop down to any car audio store andjust explain the situation: 'just got a new head unit and now only my front speakers work' theyll know exactly what u mean.

Havent been active for a couple of weeks....

Thanks for the replys, loving it I have to admit!

Managed give her a good detail and the paints popped out really well

Fitted some little bits like LED Number plate bulbs, Clear indicator bulbs etc etc
also fitted a Mk2 Scirocco rear wiper

(Fitted after pictures)

that must have been one nice golf! i had no sound and the remote cable needed connecting (blue) to power the amp. may be that.

Nilz, Noggy use to be the fastest colour.... But black is now the fastest ive heard

Its had an arch pull but not a widearch. Its the brown Bora on Porka 997 Turbos

Snow is ***** out there! Avoriaz is just above morzine, it snowed after we left then it rained AGAIN... If they do get snow be careful of the off piste... there is a stupidly unstable snow pack out there.
