whats to do to make Seat Leon Cupra R Front Splitter,, is it just a matter of cutting the lugs off it then screwing on ???????

yep google the guide

Might not be a good mod to do right now though. I seem to remember reading that someone ripped theirs off in the snow. Perhaps a summer mod? :)

went to seat today and guess what they had one in stock so got it and might fit it tomorrow

I kinked mine in the snow, but mine's a Quattro Sport (a bit lower).... plus it WAS 12" deep powder, so even an SE would have been ploughing...

I take mine off when I switch to winter tyres now.

I'd also recommend doing it in summer 'cos you do have to spend some time on the ground getting it right: James and I did mine last Jan in the snow and it was COLD.... it's something you want to be able to take your time over.

Thought about this but not sure. Is the splitter smooth finish or textured? might be quite nice if smooth. Temporary locate with double sided tape and then self tappers I presume? And paint the heads the same colour as the splitter of course.( Iknow you probably wouldnt see them , but at least you knows its done !

Hello, does anyone have a picture of one fitted to an SE bumper?

Thank you pleashe

wow your one of the only ppl to say that lol

might be because the ride height looks too high perhaps (in that particular example anyway) most splitters are generally quite low to the ground?

Its not a splitter its a lip spoiler
splitters are close to the ground and usually flat and carried under the car a bit
the lip spoiler just takes that curved back under look away which is what i hate about the stock bumper .

Thought so, just wondered what the relevance of your statement regarding a Lip Spolier was?

Paul said it not me. Its called a splitter but is in fact more of a lip spoiler. A true splitter is far bigger and will extend under the car to increase frontal downforce, this is purely cosmetic, although I can detect a decrease in understeer since since fitting it.

;)

This was the best £20 ive ever spent, looks the dogs danglies!
