So after a bit of deliberation I decided on the 3.2. I believe this means that I'm looking at cars manufactured between 2004 and 2009. As far as I'm aware all were either "Sport" or later "S-line".

Presumably the model range was face lifted once or twice during its production period?

Could anyone let tell me when this occurred, I'm after an S-line with me most recent face lift available for that car. What year car does that mean I should be searching for?

Thanks in advance.
Jon

2006 (55 plate) - 2008 (08 plate) IIRC, will give you something that looks like this

There's an 08 plate one on autotrader now, maybe just registered then?

I dont think MY08 came in until ~ Spring 08, so last ones will still be MY07 model even though it's on a '08 plate. The MY08 looked the same but had features like extended DIS functionality.

Excellent, that's really helpful.

So I'd be looking at (what you refer to as) an 8P2 S-Line.

Thanks
Jon

Yes Jon. Like RS said, there does appear to be a couple '08 plates. Where all are you looking? I find Pistonheads classifieds is normally quite good, along with Audi's own site. Also Top Marques from time-to-time.

Mostly autotrader. I'll have a look at the others. Did have a quick look at the Audi Approved Used but they seemed very expensive.

MY08 came in Autumn 2007.

good choice. just bought one on a 57 plate. you wont be dissappointed!
mine was advertised on pistonheads and ebay by a specialist down near heathrow. really good looking Audi's down there and good prices. Well worth my travel down from Scotland!

Sounds great - did you go for DSG? Enjoying the sound?

V6 motors are great if fuel costs are not an issue, smooth and lovely.

Thanks, don't do big miles so fuel shouldn't be too much of a problem. Could listen to that V6 all day.
