I've heard from a reliable source that as from tomorrow, police will be stopping anyone with snow on their roofs. a £60 fixed on teh spot fine and 3 points.
I've said this for years, as you warm the car up inside, you cause the snow to melt from the bottom up.
As you drive along that snow will be sitting on a melted layer of ice, and if you were to:
a) brake, it'll slide forward andcover your windshield, blinding you on the road
b) accellerate, it'll slide backward, either onto the car behind or onto the road causing a obsticle that could potentialy freeze
c) going around a 2 lane roundabout and it'll slide off onto the outside lane car, potentially onto their windsheild causing blindness to them.
d) going around a corner and the snow sliding off onto pedestrians on the walkways.
Common sense people. But I trust you lot do this anyway!
