Ripped off my front bumper

:banghead: really pee'd off, managed to catch it whilst reversing out of the garage so all my own fault. The corner has creased and I can't get it to sit right any more (a lot of the plastic catches have broken off).

Is it feasible to repair (recommendations nr bristol if poss!) or is it a case of finding a new bumper from somewhere?
 
what colour is it? may be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand bumper off bay of e and the likes

Reiger bumper looks good and it's ABS plastic, not fibreglass. To be honest though, you can pick up an S4 bumper (used) for a lot less - perhaps look out for one of them?
 
I've got a rieger f/bumper on mine. Quality is good but the number plate recess is wonky which annoyingly i didn't notice till it was sprayed up and fitted on the car! Also where the bumper should follow the arch line its not quite the right shape, not the right curve. Still looks good though, dont but fibreglass **** whatever you do, will 99% be bad quality but also you'll be charged alot to fit it
 
Hmm, is the wonkiness noticeable (was your car that got me thinking of an supermarket replacement :) )? I want to avoid fibreglass definitely I want a good fit lol! I thought the genuine rs4 bumper doesn't fit properly as it needs the wider wings?

RS4 won't fit without modification but S4 bumper will fit just fine.

It looks a little the same the other side (a bit like the bumper has been "stretched" wider than it should be and it doesn't seem to stay on the side clips properly)

I'm going to have to get the wing resprayed too I think to get rid of the paint mark on the edge :crying:
 
The problem might be that it's not seating properly. When you say the clips have broken, do you mean on the bumper or on the carrier that sits below the wing?

Make sure it's definitely fitter properly. Give it a good kicking on the sides to make sure it's seated properly.
 
On the bumper, the carrier below the wings seem fine and it pops onto those but it seems to just come off again. The ones that are broken are the ones that would clip into the elongated holes in the support bar
 
I have a front bumper available, its pre-facelift and red thou, let me know if its any good to you?
 
Thanks for the offer, I'll hold out for an S4 one I think though. Managed to get it to sit reasonably now and it's just the corner that sticks out a little so in no rush to sort it properly anymore

No probs mate!

Keep an eye on the Bay, quite a few sets of S4 skirts etc appearing just now, bumper should show up soon.
 
heat gun and some fibreglass matting on the inside should sort the crease out
