My 12 month old 1.8T 190 is losing about a pint of coolant a week and the warning flashes up about twice a month and needs a couple of pints refill each time. The dealer can find nothing wrong and it is booked in again next week. Anyone else had this fault and any ideas where to look? Also the climate would only throw cold air out one morning this week but it has gone back to normal now. Could this be connected?

The last 2 Audi's i've owned have leaked coolant and I can not find where the leeks are /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

mine loses approx 1 litre a month as well, so I keep it topped up, and have some G12 spare as well, god knows where it goes lol, my temp is perfect at 90c and I have no overheating problems etc, I think mines maybe a tiny leak in the radiator but I nor the dealer can find it.

Serious problems I am afraid. Back to the dealers today and they say the head gasket has gone, which seems surprising as they said this was OK when I took in it three weeks ago. Under warranty but has anyone else had this happen in a one year old 1.8Tq (190)? Only consolation is that I have a brand new A6 3.0 tdi q until early next week.
