Thought I would put my little progress thread in here on my a4 tdi 110.

So got the car around 2 months ago now.

First thing i did was to get it nice and clean inside and out:

Then added a 10" vibe active sub:

I then got the car remapped by Elite remaps which has made it run so much better.

^^Upgraded bulbs-before and after^^

Still plans for coilovers, uk legal pressed plates, anything else anyone can think of, ideas welcome.

Looks good, get it lowered too as it looks like on stillts !

That looks spot on mate, really crisp. Whats the story with the remap please?

Curious, do you have a link at all?

Couple of new pics:

Also just recently had a new cat fitted, also going in garage at the end of the month for new suspension arms and wheel bearing.

Jack that looks really good mate, once its lowered it'll be sweeeet! How did you do the rear lights and wtf is flyeyekits? loving the lights.

EDIT: Found it, that is a real bargain and it looks like good ****! ty ;) just what I been looking for.

Yeah its not a bad kit, so easy to work with, the real lights i did with tinting spray and then a fair amount of laquer to get that mirrored look.

And yeah it does need lowering badly lol but it needs abit of work so ill be getting things sorted before it gets lowered.

Abit to update, got myself a orange audi-sport.net sticker and a orange tax disc holder to match the other orange bits.

Also had new top control arms, new abs sensor, new wheel bearing, 2 new tyres, oil+filter change and a new air filter.

After a HID kit as i hate the bulbs in at the moment, they're that bad that when a cars coming towards me i can't actually see lol, teach me to buy cheap HID style bulbs off ebay. Also want pressed plates and to get the thing lowered as soon as.

Few little updates, a new mot, not even any advisorys. Orange tax disc holder, also done away with all the audio in the boot as I need the space, will get a underseat sub sorted some time.

Next is HIDS, getting them soon then get a lowering kit for it.

maybe get some colour coded skirts too, it will give the impression its lower straight away.

So what did you get out of the remap?

The remap was £200 and quoted by the people who did it took my bhp up by around 35bhp and torque up by around 50nm.

Looks good that sub, but I still need more room then that, my whole boot is taken up, so going to have to get one that will fit under my seat, either that or I just upgrade the standard speakers in the car, the standard ones have no kick at all to them.

Just ordered some LED number plate bulbs and all orange bulbs for every interior light. Going to order pressed plates soon aswell.

Also got HID kit fitted but no pictures yet

Right list of jobs for next couple of months:

*Won a lowering kit, picking up this week and getting fitted soon
*Standard rear lights back on, they are going full red
*Orange centre caps are going back anthacite
*Orange Audi rings on the wheels have alredy gone
*Audi rings on front are back chrome, but thinking of doing them black again
*Going to blank EGR valve off
*New front discs and pads
*Calipers getting painted
*Front wings getting replaced
*Standard headunit is back in, just need cd changer

Right i've picked up the lowering kit today, sport struts with -40mm springs.

Waiting on StokeAudi to get back to me so I can pay for some new bolts and strut gaskets then the suspension can be fitted

Also fitted the EGR block off plates today.

Picked up another set of rear lights and i've sprayed them full red with a good few layers of laquer, just waiting for them to dry.

Won a cd changer for £10 on ebay which im happy about so that will be fitted when it arrives.

So next is, fitting suspension, get some pressed plates and a service.

Nothing noticeable I don't think, maybe seems abit smoother through the rev range but I had the car mapped a few months back so it pulls pretty well anyway, just done the EGR block off for peace of mind really, least its not chucking crap back into the engine.

Before it was mapped I found it really slugish, not sure if there is a problem somewhere because alot of people say the tdi110 standard seems quite fast to them.

Gettin my B5 on tuesday/wednesday next week its a 110 too so hopefully it'll be grand. It'll def be a big change from the octavia I just had with 69bhp (1.9 SDI) :sm4:

Good stuff mate, the red lights will suit the silver, bit of contrast. As much as i liked mine, it was a bit much with the car being red, get a pic up of them. Im doing another set just now aswell, similar but hopefully turn out just as good with a facelift hint!

The lights finished, 3 coats of the red tint spray and 2 decent coats of laquer.

Will be back on the car tomorrow.

Good stuff mate, maybe get some orange indicator bulbs also as i only done 2 coats. Try them first thou, might still be ok! Looking good thou, will be nice on the silver paint!

Think i've got some orange bulbs kicking around, if not there only a few quid, will see what they are like tomorrow when I fit them back on.

Pictures don't seem to do the lights justice, they look real nice and fresh.

First please excuse how mucky my car is, its normally very clean but did 140mile yesterday and it got mucky.

^^Rear lights on again^^

^^EGR blank plates^^

Also re-painted my grill surround today as it was pretty chipped and the audi badge has gone back chrome.

and a general shot of the car, now with the audi rings removed from alloys, orange centre caps are going soon aswell and going back same colour as wheels.

Car looks good (bar it being silver :p), but i dont like the sign writing.

I guess your advertising your business, but it doesnt look professional imo.

I think i'd look much better if it was on the doors for a start, with a company logo and one landline telephone number. If your not at home, divert the landline to your mobile.

Cheers for the comments, nothing wrong with silver :p

As for the sign writing, I was in 2 minds about either having it on the bodywork or the glass, in the end I decided to go with the glass, thinking of changeing the colour of it though because now im doing away with all the orange bits on my car and will probally get it done in silver.

Got some more Antheracite spray on order so when that arrives the orange centre caps will be going.

Should hopefully get on with lowering in a couple of weeks, the sooner StokeAudi get back to me the sooner I can start.

Well centre caps are back the same colour as the alloys, going to VW tomorrow to try get these suspension parts sorted out.

Also be ordering pressed plates tonight.

I like pressed plates.
Nice and clean.

Jack, know of any group buys going? I'll be up for going in on one. I'm after a set.

And me depending on price :) think they look awesome and way better than chavved up letters or standard plates!!

Jack, Sorry to high jack. I just emailed a company that I'm thinking of using to get some pressed plates.
I asked them about group buys.
If your interested, when i get a responce i'll PM you and one else that might be interested (If you are interested, drop me a PM, save filling up jakes post. :D)).

I've already ordered mine, got them off ebay, if you put in "legal pressed plates" they will come up. £22 for the pair.

Also got my suspension bits on order from VW, will be picking them up on Saturday.
