If i'm honest, I've nicked a few bits off of a courtesy car before. :(
On the day of returning it I parked up the car on the dealer's forecourt and took this photo just before handing it over. ------> LINK
They've refused to lend me another car ever since. Dunno why.

I really hope all those professing to swap parts are indeed joking.

We've been on the receiving end with one of our hire vans - the err "Irish" people that hired it returned it with now 4 bald tyres that they has swapped across, fortunately it was noticed by boss when they returned it. Spare wheels have also gone missing in the past.

If i see your car in the car park i will have your mirrors and rear lights. I know it wouldn't bother you, easy come easy go A? I might even key it...good excuse for getting the insurance to do a respray
Well thats pretty low, a little bit of trim swappage, is on a whole different ball game to keying someones car.

Trim swappage !! Your beyond belief !! OK....Then after i have nicked the wheels off your car i will leave you my old curbed set of steel wheels ....just innocent swoppage you understand..

You can parcel it up anyway you like but people like you are the reason posters come on here in despair because someone nicked their chrome mirrors etc. So what is your justification for taking other peoples property ??..No don't answer ! you aint got any justification because there is non.

Paddy, maybe AUDI nicked one of your cylinders? hence the misfire?
Just a thought......:eyebrows:

Its all about perspective....pinching/swapping hundreds of pounds of bits off someones car -against- someone causing hundreds of pounds in damage to your car....the answer is neither is right

I would never do to anyone what I wouldnt want done to me! Naive maybe.. but if everyone did this where would it end.

I hate to think I have to be careful where to park the car in case bits go missing! Doesnt matter if you're rich or poor, you still shouldn't take.

Words of sense.
'Hundreds of pounds' can also be replaced with 'a few pence'. Principle is still the same.

Just think ! If you had anouther cylinder you would nearly have a TTRS engine.....two more and you would have the best of the lot..A V6
