Nope the police wont help so i will have to sort matters my self, the car wasnt only cat c but it was nicked when it was crashed the police informed me, so im supprised that didnt come up on the HPI.

I filled out the thing on the met police site, i have a piece of paper with he name and address and signature saying i gave him £100. But in the event of them doing nothing some nitromos should do the trick :-) He actually threatened to throw acid in my face thats proberly the most stupid...

Well spoke to him he pretended to be some one else with hes mates phone for 20 mins. Then addmited it was him and threatned to cut me up and bragged about how much money he has. The car in question reg is Y301 GKR so unlucky to who ever brought that. Im shocked at how much of a ***** one person...

thanks for the replys, well i contacted him today he says he didnt know and its fine to give my money back, but then he started avoiding my calls and i went to where the car was and its gone. He must be thick cause i have hes address and i dont live far so stealing from me isnt to clever.

I just went to see a s3 and asked if it was a cat c which he said no it isnt, so i paid £100 deposit for it went home and done a HPI and its come up as cat c. Should i loose the £100 or buy the car? Any one have experiance of cat c cars and insurance? Cheers

Thats a good point mate cause the bloke this say the remote central locking wasnt working cause the battery in the fob was dead he was prob wrong then. Think i will just steer clear of it! cheers

Im looking to buy an s3 but the one i looked at the interior lights or sunroof are not working? could this be becaus eof somethign as simple as a fuse?
