I'd be interested in this too. I haven't looked myself yet so don't have any info sorry.
If you can share what you find, I'd appreciate it.

Finally figured this out. It's settable via:
5F > Adaption > Channel 69
I set the value to 8 and it works a treat now.

I did it in an B6 and it wrecked the seals and caused the car to smoke after a while, so I wouldn't do it again.
Mind you, that could just be that the stuff I was using was no good as a family member was making it ;)

Hi
Does anyone know where the TMC settings can be set via VCDS?
Currently my TMC doesn't work unless I access the hidden green menu and set it like in the photo I've attached and annoyingly I have to do this every time I get in the car :(

Thanks

I think in that case it's a Lo phone prep. Mines a 2013/63 B8.5. I didn't have it on my last one which had Lo, but this one with High has it.

Depends on your cars phone prep. lol is last name first only, hi has the option to select first name first. It's done via the settings. It doesn't matter how your phone is setup

There probably is an after market solution out there that will work. I've seen a Bluetooth receiver that connects to the 3.5mm jack, but you have no...
I think it might depend on what system you have already, but I think (not 100% sure) you can add the AMI to almost any system, but there are different versions for different systems. You could check hazzydayz.com or kufatec.co.uk as they might have some options on there.
