Driving home tonight in my 1.8T and my oil warning came on so pulled over and my tappets were tapping checked the Oil and it was fine still full any one got any ideas?
I have an 1996 A4 1.8T Sport and have found a cheap S4 Engine with 67K on it what needs to be done for it to fit? Would it be easier to put an S3 lump in?

Kicked up abit of a fuss today they gave me 2 indicator bulbs for free, I put the seat belt harness back on and glued it and they put tape on the side skirt for me and re-tested it for free which it passed. RESULT!
Yes works but because it has no cover its liable to fail???????
Indicators failed as they reckon they dont flash orange??? ( well unless the colour orange has changed im stumped )
They've told me to stick black tape over the sharp edge on the skirt.
