Just bin looking at exhausts on ebay for a a3 1.8t 1999 , There isn't many on there at a fair price in all honesty im not too worried if its a cheaper make im not after power, im just after a bit of sound to go with the looks of the turbz lol now ive found this Sportex VW Golf mk4 performance...

Rears are 18x9.5jj but just noticed it says et35 on the rears also says 336 ?? The fronts are 18x8.5jj 336 ... Also says e35 .?.?.? :-/ altho the rear seems to be a bigger size( as in were the bolt holes are on the inside ) ... Tyres are 225/40 on fronts and rears ...

Hi peeps been a while since I last posted as my old audi a3 went to car heaven ... So now I have another 8l 1.8t 150bhp :-) now here's the problem ... I have some nice 18" staggared alloys that came off a mates bmw ... Now I know the bmw is different pcd so I'll have to get the 5x100 to 5x120...

Oh i was gutted alright mate, ive bin up there since and they had the lot... the hole engine bay is bare as bare can be ... finding a 1.8t in a scrap yard is quite hard to find... ive been to all in a 30 mile radias and no luck so far ...

Take the original dv off mate and check around the nipple on the top as they tend to crack around the nipple and the edges next to the nipple, had the same prob with mine so ive put another on and now i have good boost :-)

Yea i know the feeling mate, I went to a local scrap yard last week looking for a boot seal, And low and behold there was a nice lil m4 golf with the same 1.8T engine in as my a3.. pimped out with all the hoses and what not.. Before i could even get out the sentance how much is all the hoses...

Not promising as i know it had less than 24hours to go ..., I would have bought it myself mate but i dont get paid till friday so i left it ha

Hey, I have a audi a3 1.8T as some of you already know..., Not when i got it had a idle problem, was jumpy (only slightly) and when you rev it it will rev down as normal but drop down too low .. and the engine sounds as if its struggling for a second and will rev back up to normal idle and jump...

In what way alteration mate ? I don't really want to go messing with the bodywork just to fit some headlights lol
