Sorry I meant 2876, not 71. Stroker changes everything, so he can go for a bigger turbo of course. On a standard 1.8, I don't like how the car performs with a 3076, too much lag and the slot of use is very small. This can be fine for a street car but not for a track car, it's just my opinion.

I don't recommend the 3076 for our S3 because of the small engine, it will charge too late. Not good for a track car. GT(X)3071 ar63 will be a perfect turbo for a 450HP setup. With a 2871 you can reach 400/420 but not more.

@badger5 Actually my turbo is a MHI-TD05 Hybrid. I have the dynamometer sheet if you want to see. I started this topic because my oil hoses are on the top of the intake manifold and they are damaging it a bit because of the heat. So I was wondering if it was worth to change my original inlet...

I have a big IHI turbo, between a gt28 and a gt30 in terms of performance. So you think I should keep the std inlet manifold ?

Hi, At the moment, I have the original intake manifold on my s3, I would like to know : - Is it worth to replace it by a performance part ? - If not, how can I protect it ? One of the oil cooler hoses is against the intake manifold and damaging it because of the heat. Thanks,

Yes you're right. And how about one to replace to central ventilation ? Something like that : A plate that fits in place of the ventilation.

I thought drill just above the central ventilation, to fix the pod and to put the wires of the gauges. But maybe it's easier to replace the central ventilation.

Hi @g60leigh, could you do a double pod for me ? On the same idea of the one you made, but to put it there : either above the central ventilation (red) or in place of the ventilation (green).
