Havent found where its coming from yet but was the same symptoms as yours, got it in for an oil pressure test on Tuesday, will let you know the outcome!
Forgot to mention the car has had 2 new sumps, 2 lots of oil, 1 oil filter and a new genuine oil pressure switch in the last 2 months and the light still persists!
Ok as the title says I think I may have oil leaking from the corner of the head on my apy s3.
We discovered this while changing the sump yesterday and there seems to be oil over the drivers side of the head.
My friend seems to think that when the car was rebuilt the mechanics didnt torque down...

Oil light back on but not as much, only happens when the car is warm and below 2k revs, really running out of ideas now, any advice peeps?

So last monday I replaced the sump, oil and filter and the light stayed a way for a day or so and came back on, gutted!
So today I replaced the gasket for the oil feed pipe for the turbo at the sump end and replaced the oil pressure sensor with an aftermarket one, now the...
Update: Replaced the sump, oil and filter today, found the cause of the problem, looks like the last person to have the sump off put a bit too much sealant around the pickup pipe gasket, causing it to partially block of some oil flow, all sorted now, no more annoying oil light! Yipee!
No I didnt actually, it looked like it didnt connect to anything, I think it was just the totally wiring loom, think I will purchaee the one I mentioned in my first post, thanks for the reply though
