Im hopfully going to be the proud owner of an 2008 A3 2.0 TDI Sport on sunday and thought i would finally introduce my self been looking for new cars for a while! Just hope this one is a good'en. Going to be quite a step up from my humble mk3 Vw Polo. looking forward to some comfort :)

I'm by no means an expert but i think over time the wastegate on the turbo gets gunged up with soot and stops the wastegate from moving which results in overboost thus causing your car to go into limp mode and blowing a boost pipe off. It may well be new turbo time :S
