It's been a while since I was around here, but thought it worth asking... I need a replacement alloy wheel for my '03 8L TDI QS after hitting a large pothole rather hard, and deforming the rim... From the factory my car had the 17" RS4 style 9 spokes and that is what I would like to keep...

I ended up buying the Thule on for my motor (5-door though) and found it to be excellent. Used it to carry two bikes for a good distnace several times now. Cheers Mark

R32 Arbs on a 2wd car arn't going to help much... Personally, I would go for 17" rims, with an Eibach Sports kit (springs and Dampers - gives about a 30mm drop) and then an uprated ARB on the back. This is the setup I had on my Golf, and I was very pleased with it. Cheers Mark

I changed my front brakes from 288mm to 312mm using the caliper carriers from VAGParts. I am however still using the same calipers, and to be honest I am not that impressed with the improvement. 312mm is what an S3 will have, but are they using a bigger calliper than I have fitted? Are they...

I believe the TT shifter linkage can be fitted. There was a thread on either vortex or uk-mkivs a while ago. I looked into it when I had my Mk4, but went for the diesel geek shortshift instead. Mark

Sorry if this ahs been asked, but I couldn't see it in my quick search... Is the Audi Ipod adapter just the denison in disguise? Is there any difference between the two? This is to interface with my Concert II so are there any issues with this combination? Cheers Mark

Should the headlamp washers work with the screen washers? ie if I wash the windscreen, the Headlamp washers should activate as well? Or am I missing a button somwhere that does the headlamps? told you it was a stupid question... :) Mark

I had a 24mm I think - Neuspeed offered two sizes, and I had the smaller one. It was adjustable, and I only ever had it set on medium, and it was superb. Just got to do something about the A3 now :( Yeah, you don't need to remove the existing one, as it is the axle beam! Cheers Mark
