    i dont have access to vag-com, but i know a man that does. Will give this a go, tis so frustrating Just need it to work for 4 more weeks, including a treck down to bristol and back, then its being sold anyway, hence the quick fix needed rather than an expensive audi repair bill.

    Mark, the problem you mean is an old one, which was sorted with the new ecu. Car is no longer chipped and has previously, and still does, drive very well. Just a wierd problem and a frustrating one at that, as id rather it didnt do it in the middle of the M4 in a couple of weeks.

    be careful, problems have been mentioned about clearing the engine cover, most ive seen for sale say you have to remove the engine cover for it to fit.
