As an aside, I was also disappointed to discover that the SATNAV didn't contain a speed camera database.

There are approx 5 8V's here at work and I'm pretty sure there's one with the wheels you describe. I'll have a gander in the carpark and take a pic if I see it.

I'm pretty sure that you can setup the car to sound an audible and visible dash alarm when exceeding a certain speed in the MMI My car is seems to have been set at 90mph from the factory.....

My S Line has the storage compartment - Only problem is that the first aid kit is wedged in so tight, I can't get it out !

Hi Phil These are all company motors, so we HAVE to choose diesel, no petrol engines allowed.... I personally wanted the extras found in the S Line spec, whereas others probably aren't bothered if they had a 'better spec' such as 18" wheels/Xenons etc. The Slines are 2.0 TDI / Sport...

Here at work, the current split is: S line = 2 Sport = 1 SE = 2 I've seen more non-S line spec 8V's than Slines when out on the road.

I deleted the badges on my A3 for a cleaner look, that's all. For example there's a guy here at work with a new Porsche and the rear decklid is covered in badges and scripts, looks really messy IMO.

My SB with sport suspension is fine, very comfy without any jarring at all. I'd have gone for the full S line suspension if it had been available at the time. I tested an 8V A3 with the 25mm drop & it felt fine to me. - I've not driven the older 8P cars, so don't have anything to compare it to.
