    REAR BRAKE HELP ASAP!

What i find as a good way to remove the caliper is flat blade screwdrivers in between the caliper and carrier at the top and bottom and gently wiggle it. Some are very tough, but will budge with persistance. And as mentioned above you will require a caliper wind back tool.

    Ashtray jammed closed

Not quite sure how this has happened, but my ashtray has jammed in the closed postion. i'm always gentle with it. It looks further in on the left hand side. Is it a case of wedging a slim screwdriver in there and persuading it a bit ? Thanks Steve

plastic welding S3 bumper or getting a new one

When I was at my local bodyshop the other day, he had a S3 in there which he had done quite a bit of plastic welding on the bumper due to cracks. Once all filled, flatted and painted, you couldnt tel anything had been done. All depends how good the bodyshop is

Finally got round to being brave enough to remove the grill surround, which came out surprisingly easily lol. Gave it a quick rub down, and prepped it for painting. Gave it plenty of coats of halfords matt black and a couple of lacquer, using hot air gun in between coats to speed things up a...
