I have been just been told that my local audi dealer 'can do more to try and resolve my issue with the 5 week old car... ! They have washed their hands of it, they believe the issue is a body panel rubbing ! Back with the leasing company now ! Poor from Audi UK and my local dealer !

Update : - There Is no update, in fact it's 3 weeks today since the car was left at the dealer, It would take me a lot of time to explain everything they have tried with no resolve, in fact Audi UK are also involved now but the dealer think the 'tapping' sound is coming from the bodywork, panels...

Hi Gareth Have you read my thread below, my car has been in for over a week, brand new black edition, rear glass has even been out... Audi are speaking with AudiAG and I hope something is resolved this week, my leasing company even mentioned rejecting the car... long way from that hopefully...

Ok, the tapping issue is still there.... Audi are now at a loose end so are in contact with HQ in Germany... disappointing so say the least now.... they did say the car may be with them for a while... Grrrr

So car been with dealer 3 days in total, today they have removed the rear window and informed me they believe they have cured the issue, but they wont road test until tomorrow so give the glue time to cure properly. They also said their is a fault with the roof aerial, new one ordered and will...

Have to spoke with Audi UK and made an official complaint ?

Well they had a look as above but it’s going in on Tuesday ‘until it’s resopvrd’ It’s so frustrating- I’ll keep you all posted

Absolutely yes mate, it's hard not to.... I so ****** wish I could find it myself.... no ideas... So it's back with them Friday, but I'm not hopeful TBH

Just dropped into Audi on my way past and they did exactly that, I drove and the master tech sat in the rear with other seat down, he tried a few things and then put some lube on the lock, no joy... so back to the original appointment on Friday.

Needs to be, it’s awful.... grrrrrr

it’s a week old today and I noticed at the weekend there is an annoying creaking from somewhere inside the car around the rear parcel shelf.. I took the rear seats down and it’s more prominent... I can’t find it when stationary and I think it’s somwwhere under the parcel shelf... Any ideas...

Thanks, delighted with the colour... It’s brilliant, I had a 320 touring previously and I was concerned changing as i really enjoyed the rear wheel drive. This is really composed at speed and is not as harsh as I’d expect on those 19’s - it’s so quiet with the acoustic glass... Yes, please...
